Course Overview
REHAB FitPro™ (2 days) cuts through the clutter and offers you a framework and fundamental approach to injury rehab and pain management.
Many of you fitness professionals would have attended courses on foam rolling, kinesio taping, IASTM, stretching, NKT, FMS, barefoot training etc. But these courses usually teach you how to use their particular single modality/tool for a specific purpose.
For example, foam rolling. One definition/explanation from a product/education provider puts it: the act of foam rolling involves using body weight pressure across a cylindrical object in an effort to change the state of the tissues; the benefits include increased ROM and speedier recovery.
Bits and pieces of information like these may prove confusing to you, if you do not have a framework to understand when and how to use what you know, for rehab.
“When do we need increased ROM?”
“Is increased ROM always a good thing?”
“If not foam rolling, what else can i do?”
REHAB FitPro™’s framework is as such:
– Restoration (Restore what? How?)
– Eliminate (Eliminate what? How?)
– Homework (Huh? Why homework?)
– Ascertain (Ascertain what? How?)
– Balance (What? Why? How?)
Students will be taught a structured framework and fundamental approach to injury rehab and pain management.
